Group level: Strong growth profile: revenue increased by 8.7% up to 950.6 million, for the nine months period ended 30 September 2020 compared to the same period from 2019; Consolidated EBITDA increased by 8% at EUR 353 million for the nine months period ended 30 September 2020 compared to the same period from 2019.

Besides the offered residential package monthly fees, any calls started through VoWifi technology will not be charged towards the direction of DIGI’s mobile and fixed line as well as Invitel fixed line network by this means offering further benefits to DIGI/Invitel subscribers.

Budapest, 25 September 2020 – DIGI Kft, the significant actor in Hungarian telecommunications market, decided to offer its mobile tariff as monthly fee packages from January 1st, 2021 with favourable conditions to DIGI and Invitel customers after the test period ends this year.
STATEMENT REGARDING FREQUENCY BAND TENDER
On September 15, the preliminary document for 900MHz and 1800MHz mobile frequencies tender was published. The document incorporated several rulings that might be seen as obstacles to DIGI’s participation in the tender. Taking into consideration our previous experience in frequency tenders in the last 12 years when our applications were mostly unfairly rejected, we consider that now have been created the conditions for a new refusal of Digi.

Group level: Constant growth profile: the revenue increased by 5 % in Q2 2020 compared to Q2 2019 (revenues from services increased by 8%), up to EUR 310 million and RGU’s reach 16.9 million in Q2 2020, up by 9% compared to the same period of 2019.

DIGI GROUP STATEMENT REGARDING THE DECISION OF THE HUNGARIAN NATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS AND MEDIA AUTHORITY (NMHH) TO FINALIZE THE 5G FREQUENCY TENDER
With reference to the announcement issued on Thursday, March 26, by the Hungarian Communications Regulatory Authority, DIGI Communications N.V. considers the decision to finalize the 5G frequency tender in a fast-track manner to be controversial and unfair and also defying the legal action taken by Digi Communications N.V., whose participation to the auction was rejected in September 2019.
