Budapest, 26 May 2021 – Celebrating the second anniversary of its launch, DIGIMobil is available in 25 new settlements. The number of settlements with DIGIMobil outdoor coverage thus skyrocketed to 800.
Newest member of DIGI family is celebrating its second birthday. DIGI’s own mobile services first kicked off in May 2019 as test operation until January 2021 when the commercial offer of tariff packages was announced. Nothing proves better the robust growth since the launch of DIGIMobil service than the 800 settlements it has been available by now. Overall success roots in favourable conditions as well as heavy investments encircling the building of the network.
The 25 new members of DIGIMobil covered community:
Almáskamarás, Balatonfűzfő, Balogunyom, Békéssámson, Borsodnádasd, Fajsz, Gecse, Hahót, Hegyfalu, Kistelek, Kisunyom, Kozármisleny, Magyarszecsőd, Nagyszokoly, Polgár, Rábahídvég, Sajóörös, Sajószöged, Szarvaskő, Szemely, Szigethalom, Tahitótfalu, Vasegerszeg, Zsédeny, Zsámbok
Besides the newly joint settlements, DIGI this year has also improved the density and quality of its mobile network in major regional centres like Budapest, Debrecen, Miskolc, Pécs, Szeged, Dunaújváros, Tatabánya, Székesfehérvár, Veszprém, Nyíregyháza, Kecskemét, Békéscsaba and several others.
